Hello there

Not much to say.

A work in progress:

Ok

Phoo, I've pretty much neglected this blog for nearly two entire weeks.

Anyhow, we went skateboarding only twice: once in Fremont, and once in Saratoga. Here's a possible ender by Ayush. I'm not supposed to leak it, but you all have been waiting patiently for so long, and I didn't take any photographs either...

Oh man, the guys at DLX are going to kill me for this one...

Moreover, we held another little Battle at the Jerrix.

I really don't have anything to say about this clip, other then that I look extraordinarily stupid. That Gerry was unusually energetic in this clip does not surprise me. [teeheehee]

In stark contrast to the hectic 'banging' nature of the Fremont session, the Saratoga session was fairly languid. We crossed the street to the high school, where we just jeh'd around.
Upon arriving home, we immediately commenced the video game marathon we had planned for the rest of the night, but naturally, the madness behind Gears of War 2 on insane did not slate Gerry's thirst for adventure. After breifly planning, we decided to visit one of our nearby classmates. A cursory review of the google maps directions, and we were off. When we slipped out the front door, my cell phone read 11:32 PM. Pretty rebel, huh?

Really. Typing the person's address was undoubtedly the most creeper-esque thing I've ever done.

A short walk and we were on the poor girl's front porch. Here's an image of Gerry having a jolly time. I assure you, I'm not in the picture.

CREEPER

That's that. Hopefully I'll be update again sometime in the near future. Until then, here's a wonderful video that will surely delight you. It's boldly entitled "Kittens Inspired by Kittens."

Sooooooooo rebel.

It's 11:11 right now, so I wish that all of you are having a pleasant ride home from Winter Ball! As you ladies decidedly noticed, I didn't go. There's just something about listening to loud, boisterous hip-hop and dancing with people you're not too familiar with that just doesn't appeal to me. I suppose the latter is my fault, but I'm content with my solid group of homies. Unfortunately for me, though, they like to party too. Great.

This fact compounded with my ravaging cold made it difficult to squeeze a playdate in today, but we did it anyways just for you guys.

Again I traversed to Sunnyvale, where I met with Tariq and Ayush. Tariq first took us to a nice little bank secluded behind a Christian school. However, it was a total bust; we were promptly ejected by two middle aged women and an extremely conceit man on a bicycle wearing tights.

From there, we traveled down the street until we arrived at the church. We didn't even dabble with the pint-sized four stair. Straight to the real attraction, no monkey business.

I assure you, he ollied the entire roof.

By then, we had already spent a respectable sum of time wandering around, so we began to head back. We stopped by Lucky's. That's where Tariq was suddenly consumed by an appetite for 'meat.' We left with three bottles of root beer and an elephantine pack of peppered salami.

Finally, we went to Serra Park just to hang out for a little bit. We even had a little Battle at the Berrics of our own. Battle of the Jehrix.

Yep, then I went home. But my story doesn't cease here. Upon returning home, I had some dinner and did some studying. Then Gerry called me over for a little cutie bit. I walked to his house, and there we had a jolly time. Essentially, I sat on his bed and braved unholy videos he thought were funny.

Yep.

So that brings me here. That's almost a full day in my life; maybe I'll make one of those soon. I hope you guys enjoyed yourselves at the dance.

Bum bum ba dum bum bum ba bum bum.

Sorry for taking pretty much no pictures this weekend.
Here's one I do have. Point and shoot of course, but I have a feeling it will suffice.

Club Ice sucks.

So today, we skated Sunnyvale again. This time, the park.
No pictures, sorry.

For the most part, it was mellow. Nothing particularly worthwhile was achieved.

Jun left earlier. Originally, the plan was for Tariq and Viet to come back to my house, where we would rendezvous with my homebois Ayush and Gerry.

But Tariq and Gerry opted to go to Club Ice instead. I mean, honestly. Club Ice?

so lyk i herd brian peppers wuz @ club ice

But that's ok, we don't need them to have a good time >:O

To show you how much fun we had without them, I present to you a clip from tonight. It's meant to be taken seriously.

don't click it

I know this serves as sort of a juxtaposition to my Road to the VX post, but this is strictly lolcat, I promise.

Today.

Was ok. We skated sunnyvale.

First, we went to Las Palmas park for the infamous 'pond spot.'

The ledges were a little high, and the banks a little steep, but it was ok. We set up the metal box, instead.

Later, Tariq stepped up and tried a backside wallride.
After a few tries, the sun was so kind to set just enough so that I could get this shot. Tariq did not land this particular try, but it's a cool photograph nonetheless.

After a while, we began to head home. Unfortunately Ayush had to leave at that point, but big thanks for coming out with a broken collarbone.

From there on out, it was pretty languid. Jun, Tariq, and I settled on Call of Duty.

Road to the VX.

The kids at the sbc photog forum doing their 365s motivated me to create this blog. From here on out I suppose I'll be documenting each session with photographs and perhaps even miscellaneous footage.

Anyhow, the first matter at hand is our camera predicament.

yep, aint she a beauty

Granted, we don't actually need a new one, but Ayush is particularly insistent. He managed to find a VX1k at an obscure website for 950 dollars - sort of sketchy, considering that they retail at well over 2000. Whatever. Our current goal is 950. Don't forget to account for the 700+ death lens and accesories.

current vx funds: fortysomedollars/950

So we put our heads together, and the only feasible way for us to produce a grand relatively soon is cashcrate. We're lazy. Sorry Donovan, your methods simply aren't practical.

Join here.

I know most kids, myself included, are too lazy to click links, so I'll just sum it up for you.
Basically, you get paid to complete 'offers' and surveys. They each pay a quarter or more, and none of the offers take over a minute to complete. There's no risk if you complete the offers using an alternate email and home address. I hesitate to use this phrase, but it's pretty much free money.

The best part about it is that you don't even have to think about helping us. You're just making a buck for yourself so you can hold down your block. Maybe you're eyeing that new abercrombie sweater or that amp you saw in Guitar Center, I don't know.

Cashcrate works. I can vouch for it's legitimacy. Last month, I recieved a check in the mail for 21 dollars. Dylan Q. also recieved his. Cashed it in, no problem.

Friends, I come to you in a time of crisis. We are fourteen years old, with no means of cash flow. Our current setup is an aiptek whatever with a bower magnetic fisheye. Sometimes we're able to get ahold of Jun's gs320 and stick a kenk on it. But for serious heavy duty skate cinemagraphy, this just isn't enough. We're going for the big cheese, here.

We're devoted. Ayush and Jun have been advertising this Cashcrate account all over the United States via Craigslist. We've posted in random skateboard websites. Ayush's skateperception account has even recieved a temporary ban for spamming.

Anyhow, I hope you're not too tired of me ranting about Cashcrate. I hope even more that you're not even reading this and instead earning your first paycheck.

I'll leave you guys with this quote from the president elect Barack Obama: "I think when you spread the wealth around it's good for everybody."

Word. Help us out, and make some money in the process.

Ps. From now on, my posts won't be promotions. I promise.
